Hi, I’m Tara Harris, your local State Farm Insurance Agent! I began my journey with State Farm in 2019 after spending over a decade as a high school English teacher. Teaching taught me the importance of clear communication and caring for others—skills I now use daily to help my customers make informed decisions about their insurance needs.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and my master’s from the University of Texas at Arlington. My husband, Andrew, and I have been married since 2006, and I’m fortunate to have him working alongside me in our office. Together, we’re raising three energetic boys on our family farm.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me reading, traveling, or teaching 5th and 6th graders at our local church, alongside Andrew. My passion is helping families and businesses protect what matters most.
